Meet James
James Toebbe is a fifth-generation Covington resident, Navy veteran, VFW legislative chairman, and current Covington City Commissioner committed to serving the community he has always called home.
Throughout his career in military service, veterans advocacy, and local government, James has focused on practical solutions, responsible leadership, and putting residents first.
Today, James is focused on strengthening public safety, improving neighborhoods and parks, investing responsibly, and ensuring every resident has a voice at City Hall.
Showing Up for Covington
Leadership doesn't end after a commission meeting. Throughout the year, I'm committed to being present in our neighborhoods, listening to residents, supporting local events, recognizing volunteers, and working alongside the people who make Covington a great place to call home.
Whether it's a neighborhood cleanup, veterans event, ribbon cutting, youth recognition ceremony, or community festival, I believe leadership means showing up, listening, and serving.
